What we collect.
What we don't.

01In one paragraph.

Fastlane is a small firm and we behave like one. We do not run advertising, we do not retarget visitors across the web, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone. We use a single analytics tool (Google Analytics 4) to understand which pages get read and which calls-to-action work. You can decline that with one click on the cookie banner at the bottom of any page. The only personal data we actively collect is what you give us — your name, email and what you're trying to do — when you book a briefing, run the Audit, or write to us.

02Analytics.

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used. Specifically: page views, traffic sources, country (not city), device type, and the events we have explicitly chosen to track — for example, "audit started", "briefing clicked", "chat opened". We do not enable Google's advertising features or remarketing.

  • IP addresses are anonymized before being stored.
  • No analytics fire until you tap Accept on the cookie notice.
  • If you tap Decline, nothing about your visit is recorded.
  • You can change your mind any time by clearing your browser's cookies for fastlane.co.

Google's own privacy practices for this product are documented at policies.google.com/privacy.

03Forms.

Three forms on this site collect personal data: the briefing request, the Audit, and the memo subscription.

What we ask, and why:

  • Name and company — so we know who is writing.
  • Email — so we can reply, send your Audit result, or deliver the Memo.
  • What you're trying to do (free-form text on the briefing form) — so the principal who reads it can prepare a real answer.

That information lands in our email inbox (briefings@fastlane.co) and, where appropriate, in our customer relationship system. It is not shared with any other organization, ever. If you ask us to delete it, we delete it.

04The Audit.

The free Brand Intelligence Audit at /audit sends three things to a language-model provider (Anthropic, the makers of Claude) so it can generate your score: your company URL, your industry, and the goal you selected. It does not send your name, your email, your LinkedIn, or anything you typed about your business.

Anthropic processes the request to return a score and recommendations, then discards the prompt. They do not use the data to train their models. Their full policy is at anthropic.com/privacy.

Your email, if you provide one, is stored on our server only to deliver the result and follow up if you ask us to. It is not sent to Anthropic.

Plain English The Audit uses an AI tool the same way you might use a calculator. The tool sees the website URL and the industry. It does not see who you are.

05Ask Fastlane (the on-site chat).

The chat at the bottom-right of every page is fully on-site. It is not connected to any third-party chat platform and does not send your questions to an external server. Your conversation lives only inside the browser tab and disappears when you close it.

If analytics consent is on, we record three anonymous signals so we know whether the chat is helping: chat opened, chat answered (with the topic name — "model", "audit", "leadership", etc.), and chat handoff (when the bot refers you to a principal). We do not record the literal questions you typed.

06Cookies.

We use a small number of cookies and only when you accept them:

  • _ga, _ga_* — set by Google Analytics 4 to distinguish one visitor from another. Expires in 13 months.
  • fl:consent:v1 — set by us, in your browser's local storage, to remember whether you accepted or declined analytics so we don't ask again.
  • flc:open — set by us, briefly, to remember if you have the Ask Fastlane panel open across page navigations. Cleared when you close the panel.

That's the entire cookie list. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.

07Who gets your data.

The short answer is: nobody outside of Fastlane, except for the tools required to run the site itself. Those are:

  • SiteGround — our hosting provider, which sees standard server-level access logs.
  • Google — for Analytics, only if you accept.
  • Anthropic — for the Audit, as described above.

We do not sell or rent data. We do not run advertising, so there are no ad networks attached to this site. If we ever change any of that, this page will be updated and the date at the top of the page will move forward.

08Your rights.

Wherever you live, you can:

  • Ask us what personal data we hold on you.
  • Ask us to correct it.
  • Ask us to delete it.
  • Ask us to stop using it.
  • Withdraw your analytics consent at any time by clearing cookies for this domain.

If you are in the EU, UK or Switzerland, the legal basis for the limited processing we do is your consent (analytics) and our legitimate interest in responding to inbound business inquiries (forms).
