Seasoned Pro, Chris Spencer, Joins Executive Leadership Team to Expand

Little Falls, NJ – May 4, 2021 – Fastlane Communications, Inc., a leading independent, full-service branding, digital marketing and strategic communications agency, today announced the acquisition of Basketball Promotions & Events, led by Chris Spencer, a seasoned professional with over 30 years’ experience developing, promoting and managing sporting events nationwide and abroad.
Basketball Promotions & Events will fold under Fastlane’s growing Sports & Entertainment practice. Chris Spencer will help lead the management of collegiate and pro-level franchises, leagues, properties, tournaments and events of all sizes across all sports.

Throughout his career, Chris Spencer has booked and promoted over 200 tournaments to date. Starting in 1991, he began his career by representing college players for sports careers in European basketball and organizing summer tours for college teams around the world.
Chris later began the first ever live TV college event in San Juan Puerto Rico which later moved to Las Vegas in 2001. He has also worked with some of the top collegiate programs including Kansas, North Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, Texas, Texas Tech, Baylor, UCLA, and Syracuse, to name a few. Chris holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Shawnee State University and played college basketball at both Casper Junior College and Pan American University.
