Managing Director, Social Media
Jill Sarmie is the Managing Director of Fastlane’s Social Media practice. In her role, Jill oversees social strategies, targeting, listening, content creation, scheduling, contests, engagement, auditing, reporting and management of multiple social channels for the agency’s valued clients.
Jill comes to Fastlane with over 15 years combined experience in advertising, marketing, sales, client services and account management. Previously, she was a Marketing and Event Specialist for EU Jacksonville where she provided clients with integrated marketing solutions and unique event sponsorships to support their growth objectives. She was also the Advertising Director for Woof Publishing where she managed digital advertising sales and developed custom client campaigns for the company’s two niche websites. Additionally, Jill was a Media Consultant for Times-Union Media, National Account Manager for Bid4Spots, and the Advertising Traffic Director for East Carolina Radio, Inc.
Jill holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from Elizabeth City State University, NC. In all of her spare time and when she’s offline (which is rare), she’s passionate about animal welfare, music, arts and culture, and travel.
